We are always on the lookout for products that will aid people in the safe care and training of their horses. The Blocker Tie ring offers a quick, simple and safe way to tie a horse, allowing you to regulate the amount of resistance by using three different tying stages. Often when a horse backs up against a rope and finds it tied fast, he panics and breaks something or injures himself. This tie ring allows the horse to pull slack when resisting the rope without becoming untied. When tied inside a trailer, this tie ring allows the horse to pull enough slack to get up, should he fall while in transport. When teaching any horse to stand tied, the use of the tie ring allows the horse to pull back without feeling trapped or confined, teaching him not to fear being tied up. With proper use and training, even the most habitual and dangerous puller can learn to stand tied with the Blocker tie ring in use. People have often said that they would use one of the tie rings on their trailer at events for their horse, but do not want the paint on their trailer to become scratched or damaged by the hardware. That is why we have taken the decorative cording we use on our other products to cushion the ring and shackle that comes in the package. The tie ring is still fully functional for ALL THREE tying stages, yet in the course of eating hay or “seeing the sights” at a horse event, the cord cushion on the ring will not scratch, dent or damage the paint on your rig, or whatever you attach the ring to. The entire package comes with tie ring and shackle bound with decorative cord, plus an eye bolt for mounting, as well as detailed instructions for the tying stages. Remember, this is a support system and training tool, not a restraint system. We recommend use with our 15' lead rope. NOT RECOMMENDED for use with standard "derby" type or 3-strand cotton rope.
